ADAVB BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary

Proudly suporting the Victorian dental industry

The ADAVB BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary is a professional development grant that was launched in 2015 as part of a long standing partnership with the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch (ADAVB) and BOQ Specialist.

The practice bursary is open to ADAVB member owned private practices and aims to acknowledge dental practices committed to quality learning and to fund further professional development for practitioners and professional staff members.

Congratulations to our 2018 bursary recipient

Dr. Sathyan Saranathan, owner of the Goulburn Valley Dental Group, has been awarded the 2018 ADAVB/BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary.

“Dr. Saranathan and his team’s commitment to serving their diverse community, their emphasis on preventative care, as well their health promotion initiatives with local schools, are all excellent approaches to building lasting relationships with patients and the wider community and promoting the importance of oral health," said ADAVB President, Dr. Kevin Morris."Their examples of integrated clinical practice combined with health promotion and ongoing education of staff made them a stand-out in the 2018 bursary applications.”

In addition to a Certificate of Recognition, Dr. Saranathan and his team will receive $8,000 to be applied to CPD and training programs and $2,000 to be applied to ADAVB CPD courses. Dr. Saranathan will also be featured in our upcoming edition of ‘Best Practice’.
