The ADAQ and BOQ Specialist Practice Bursary for Dental Excellence is a professional development grant that was launched in 2017 as part of a long standing partnership between the Australian Dental Association Queensland Branch (ADAQ) and BOQ Specialist.
The bursary is open to ADAQ members who own their own practice and have over five years of professional work experience. The aim of the bursary is to acknowledge dental practices that are committed to quality learning and to fund further continuing professional development of their practitioners and staff members. Valued at $5,500, the bursary is to be applied towards ADAQ Continuing Professional Development events or certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting via the ADAQ Registered Training Organisation, and can be used for either self-development or development of practice staff.
Congratulations to our 2023 recipient{yellow-border}
We are delighted to announce Dr James Gibson has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 ADAQ and BOQ Specialist Practice Bursary for Dental Excellence. Dr Gibson was awarded $5,500 to be applied towards ADAQ Continuing Professional Development courses for himself and his team.
Dr Gibson has experienced the benefits of CPD in the early years of his career, and is excited to continue his education through this Practice Bursary. Read the full announcement here.
