What is a high-yield interest savings account?

A high yield interest savings account is an account that typically offers interest rates higher than standard transaction or everyday banking accounts.

How do I access my funds?

You can make Pay Anyone and BPAY payments directly from your Private Access Account (AUD) using BOQ Specialist Online Banking or the Mobile App. The Private Access Account isn’t set up for card or ATM access.

How does a savings account benefit my business?

For businesses, a savings account like the Private Access Account allows excess cash to earn more competitive interest than sitting in a low-rate transaction account. You still retain flexible access to funds when needed, without locking them into longer-term deposits. They’re suitable for cash flow management and short-term saving goals.

What interest rate does the Private Access Account offer?

The Private Access Account offers a variable interest rate, with interest calculated on the daily closing balance and paid monthly.
