How can I input maturity instructions in online banking
You may enter maturity instructions up to 4pm AEST on the business day prior to the maturity date of the term deposit. To enter maturity instructions you can log into Online Banking and follow the instructions from the account list. Alternatively, get in touch with our Client Service Centre on 1300 160 160 for assistance in capturing maturity instructions for a term deposit.
What are the term deposit maturity reinvestment options
There are three options available for term deposit reinvestment:
- Original amount reinvestment (“principal”)
- Total amount reinvestment (“principal” and “interest”)
- Partial reinvestment (an amount less than original investment)
Which products are available for reinvestment in online banking
The following products are available for reinvestment in online banking:
- 30 Day Term Deposit
- 60 Day Term Deposit
- 90 Day Term Deposit
- 120 Day Term Deposit
- 150 Day Term Deposit
- 180 Day Term Deposit
- 270 Day Term Deposit
- 1 Year Term Deposit

Can I reinvest in a product schedule or term that is not shown in online banking
Yes, if the desired interest payment schedule or term is not listed online banking you may call our Client Service Centre on 1300 160 160 to discuss your needs.
Can I pay out my original investment amount and interest amounts’ to different accounts at maturity
Yes you can.
After selecting the ‘No, I do not want to reinvest’ option, you will be prompted to enter a payout account for the principal, then prompted a second time to choose an account for the interest.
You can choose to payout to your BOQ Specialist account or another linked account.
Can I change my mind after inputting maturity instructions through online banking
If you change your mind, you can choose the ‘delete maturity’ instruction option in Online Banking, from the account list.
You may then input new maturity instructions if you wish or simply get in touch with our Client Service Centre on 1300 160 160 prior to 2PM on the day of maturity to update your maturity instructions.
